Justin started his career training under Master Stylist Kay Hirai in Seattle, WA. He worked his way up to lead stylist and salon manager at Studio 904. As a Washington, DC area native he decided in 2009 to move back to the East coast to be closer to family. Justin has a true passion for color and appreciates how a small change can make a large impact. He has worked with Aveda, Goldwell, and Wella color lines. He believes consultation is key in building a lasting relationship with a client.
Justin loves to create a cut and style that his clients can easily duplicate, so they are just as happy weeks after their visit as when they first walk out of the salon.
In his free time Justin is studying improv, sketch comedy, and storytelling classes at the Magnet Theatre and The PIT NYC. He has performed in shows at both Magnet and The PIT and continues to audition.
He is inspired by pop art and comics, broadway, and all the culinary delights NYC has to offer. In his free time he enjoys traveling and exploring both NYC and the world with his husband of 13 years and enjoying time at home with his two furry children Mr. Schmitz and Franklin.
